The Dark Stranger

Some think its strange but I think its better
To write you a poem instead of a letter
Most of my friends have had a poem from me
Makes things more interesting don't you agree
A note to a man who lives in such darkness
To say I love his eyes that shine like a star
Though we are separated by miles and miles
I can feel the warmth radiate when he smiles
To tell you I'm scared of how I feel
Sitting here wandering, praying that its real
Trying to work out how it could come to be
Hoping beyond hope that your the only man for me
I am prepared to give it all wear my heart on my sleave
I have to hope you won't up and leave
I hope one day to be able to hear I love you
And for me to realize you love you too.
